The best Destiny gifts and merchandise: Destiny hoodies, action figures, and more

Destiny is one of the few games to still have a loyal and somewhat rabid fanbase dedicated to playing the game on a daily or weekly basis years after launch. Now with the upcoming release of Destiny 2, that fanbase is due to grow. If you’re one of those fans, you’re in the right place – here’s our guide to the best Destiny merchandise and gifts around.

When the original Destiny was released in 2014, it was one of the most highly anticipated video games of all time. Developed by Bungie, creators of Halo and promising to deliver a brand new gaming experience, it was a game that was somewhat fated to be a big seller. While the game did indeed go on to sell a remarkably large amount of units, it was a divisive game among both fans and critics. Some praised the gunplay and overall feel of the game while others were not satisfied with the amount of content in the launch package. Still, the game established a dedicated fanbase and was a success.

Over the years, however, Destiny has proven itself to be a capable and fulfilling experience with a near-constant stream of content being added every few months. Bungie has been hard at work ever since launch with patches, fixes and gameplay balances to make the overall experience a good one for each and every player, veteran or newcomer.

The franchise is due to get its first fully-fledged sequel in the form of Destiny 2, which is set for release on September 8th, 2017 and promises to deliver an experience that will delight fans of the original game as well as encourage a whole new batch of players to join the fold. The sequel’s initial announcement trailer featured a familiar face from the original game – Cayde-6, a robot Vanguard voiced by Nathan Fillion – and gave a brief glimpse of iconic location The Tower under attack from The Cabal, a group of enemies from the first game. This gave players an idea of what to expect from the Destiny 2 story. Also new to the series, the game will see a release on PC as well as Xbox One and PS4.

In the meantime, we’ve got a guide right here to the absolute best Destiny merchandise, gifts, items of clothing, and more for all the truly dedicated Warlocks, Titans or Hunters to get their hands on. Everything from wallets to action figures is represented here, so let’s take a look at the best Destiny gifts and merchandise available right now.

KontrolFreek Destiny CQC Signature Edition Sticks for PS4

Destiny KontrolFreek CQC Signature Edition PS4

For those not already familiar with KontrolFreek’s range of thumbstick add-ons, these are little rubber grips that you can attach to the end of your gamepad’s thumbsticks, designed to give you a slight advantage when it comes to aiming. Reportedly, KontrolFreek worked in conjunction with Bungie itself to design this Destiny-themed version of the CQC Signature Edition set of sticks, which feature the Destiny insignia emblazed on both sticks. In addition to being designed for advanced gamers to gain an additional advantage on the battlefield, the KontrolFreek sticks also help younger gamers (or those with smaller hands) get into the action easier.

Destiny DualShock 4 light bar sticker

Destiny DualShock PS4 Light bar sticker

An alternative and slightly more subtle way to customise your DualShock 4 controller to showcase your fanaticism is with a light bar sticker. These things attach, as the title may suggest, over the light bar of your DualShock 4 and restrict the glowing blue (or yellow, or green, or red) light to a bespoke shape. In this case, you can customise your controller to display a glowing Destiny insignia for a handful of change. Not bad if that’s your kind of thing.
