Assassins Creed Odyssey is the latest major instalment in Ubisoft’s time-travelling, body-swapping action-adventure series. This time around, the game is set in Ancient Greece, set for release on October 5th, 2018 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Here, we’ll take a look at the best and cheapest Assassin’s Creed Odyssey pre order prices around.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gives you the choice of playing as one of two characters – Kassandra or Alexios and offers players a new skill tree system to level up with, featuring “Hunter”, “Warrior” or “Assassin” paths. Naval combat also sees a return with this instalment, and you’ll get to explore the Aegean Sea in Hellenistic Era warships, and the conflict between Athens and Sparta is shown through a “War System.” which lets players change a faction’s influence over a region, which in turn will change the gameplay and story.

Assassins Creed Odyssey Pre Order Bonus

Pre orders from all retailers offer the same pre order bonus, which is an additional mission “The Blind King”, though not much is known about the actual content of this mission yet.

What we can give you details on though, is the various different packs available with certain pre orders. Here’s a bullet point list of what each pack gives you.

  • Kronos Pack – 5 pieces of epic armour, 1 epic weapon, and 1 epic mount.
  • Herald Of Dusk Pack – 5 rare pieces of armour, and 1 rare weapon
  • Capricornus Naval Pack – 1 crew theme and 1 ship design
  • Temporary Boosts to XP and in-game currency.

And last but not least, if you log into the Ubisoft website with a Ubisoft Club account, from now until 1ist of October, you can get a Spartan Starter Pack, which will give you Sidearm Xiphos, and 2 extra items yet to be announced.

Cheapest Assassin’s Creed Odyssey price on Xbox One and PS4

The cheapest edition for the PS4 and Xbox One is the Standard Edition from ShopTo, where you’ll find both the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game at £44.86.

The next cheapest option from there – if you fancied yourself a little bit of extra content – would be the Amazon Exclusive Limited Edition. It nets you the Herald Of Dusk pack, which gives you 5 rare pieces of armour & 1 rare weapon for £49.99. That goes for both the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

If you’d prefer to have a mount to go exploring Ancient Greece with though, you can check out the Omega Edition from GAME, which will get you the Kronos pack instead, which includes 5 epic pieces of armour, 1 epic weapon & 1 epic mount for £54.99 on both PS4 and Xbox One.

The best and cheapest option to get yourself all the possible game content on release is through the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live. They are both offering the Ultimate Edition for £87.99, which includes; the Season Pass, Kronos pack, Herald Of Dusk pack, and the Capricornus pack (an extra ship design and an extra crew theme), a temporary XP boost, a temporary Drachmas boost. You’ll find it on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, respectively.

If you’re a super fan of the series though, and you just gotta have those statues then it looks like the Ubisoft Store is your best bet. They have all 3 editions; Medusa Edition for £99.99, Spartan Edition for £149.99, and Pantheon Edition for £219.99. Oh and don’t worry – They do all come with a copy of the game too.

Cheapest Assassin’s Creed Odyssey price on PC

PC players have the cheapest price of (almost) all editions available to them, with Green Man Gaming offering a pretty decent discount.

You can pick up the Standard edition for £44.99. The Deluxe edition for £51.91, which gives you the Kronos, Herald, and Capricornus packs, with those extra boosts. If you just want the game and season pass, they do the Gold edition for £72.23. However, if you want all of the gameplay goodies from launch, they offer the Ultimate edition for £78.11.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Editions – Omega Edition, Medusa Edition, Spartan Edition contents

With nine different versions of the game available to pre order (some being exclusive to certain stores), here’s a quick breakdown of what each edition contains, and what stores have as exclusives.

  • Standard Edition – The base game.
  • Limited Edition – Exclusive to Amazon, and will give you the Herald Of Dusk Pack.
  • Omega Edition – Exclusive to GAME in the UK and Gamestop in the US, and comes with the Kronos Pack, and Temporary Boosts.
  • Digital Deluxe Edition – This pack gives you the Kronos Pack, Herald Of Dusk Pack, Capricornus Naval Pack, and Temporary Boosts. This edition are only available through digital download.
  • Digital Ultimate Edition – Play the game upto 3 days early, Season Pass, Kronos Pack, Herald Of Dust Pack, Capricornus Naval Pack, and Temporary Boosts. This edition is only available through digital download.
  • Gold Edition – Play the game upto 3 days early, and the season pass.
  • Medusa Edition – The Fallen Gorgon statue, a world map, a 64 page art book, the soundtrack, premium box, Kronos Pack, and Temporary Boosts.
  • Spartan Edition – Ubisoft Store Exclusive, it includes; The Spartan Leap statue, Steelbook, an exclusive lithograph, a world map, a 64 page artbook, the soundtrack, premium collectors box, the season pass, Kronos Pack, Herald Of Dusk Pack, Capricornus Pack, and Temporary Boosts.
  • Pantheon Edition – Ubisoft Store Exclusive, it gives you; The Nemesis Diorama, Steelbook, an exclusive lithograph, a world map, a 64 page artbook, the soundtrack, premium collectors box, the season pass, Kronos Pack, Herald Of Dusk Pack, Capricornus Pack, and Temporary Boosts.

Thankfully, all editions of the game come with a copy of the main game itself.
