Is it even possible to get enough of Pokémon? We doubt it. Just in time for you to wrap up Pokémon Sword and Shield, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is scheduled to be released very soon. We’ve gathered together everywhere you can buy it for the best price, and had a look at the best pre-order bonuses out there.
A remake of the 2005 Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS games, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is a roguelike adventure about a human who turned into a Pokémon.
Rather than ‘catching em all’, your mission is to negotiate a series of dungeons that are randomised, exploring them to find new items and finish jobs that have been assigned to you. It’s the kind of bite-sized gaming that seems ideal for when you’re on the move. A demo is currently available on the Nintendo eShop and should give you the perfect insight into what to expect.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX release date
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will be released on March 6th for Nintendo Switch.
There are no special editions out there, alas! Your sole option for the game is the standard version of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. The US doesn’t even appear to have any pre-order bonuses. However, certain outlets in the UK do have special perks if you pre-order now. While none of them will change how the game plays, they can be quite nice to have.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX pre-order best price
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX has an RRP of £49.99 in the UK and $59.99 in the US.
In the UK, the best price by far is from Simply Games with almost £10 off the RRP and a free sticker set thrown in too.
The US is continuing its trend of keeping prices to the RRP when it comes to first-party Nintendo titles with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX priced at $59.99 both at Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX pre-order bonuses
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX doesn’t have any in-game pre-order bonuses tied to it but a sticker set is the most easily available bonus when pre-ordering.
Pre-order the game at The Game Collection, Simply Games, ShopTo or Game, and you get a small sticker sheet alongside the game. Just right for when you want to plaster stickers on your laptop, notebook or other bits and pieces to show off your love of all things Pokémon.
Bear in mind that Simply Games has the best price for the game at £41.95 with The Game Collection selling it for £41.85, ShopTo charging £42.85 for the same thing, and Game priced at the full RRP of £49.99.
Alternatively, pre-order Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX from the official Nintendo Store at the full RRP of £49.99 and you’ll gain an A2 poster of the game alongside it. That could mean paying an extra £10 solely for the poster but if you’re a big Pokémon fan, it might be worth it. It certainly looks big and colourful in the picture.
For now, that wraps things up. We’ll update this page if any new pre-order bonuses appear.
