The Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros – Nintendo’s throwback handheld – is now down to £30 at various retailers. It’s the biggest price drop we’ve seen so far before the retro console is removed from sale at the end of March.
Originally announced at the end of last year, it launched to coincide with the 35th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros. Much like the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection on Switch, it will no longer be shipped to retailers from 31st March. That means, once any remaining stock is gone, it’s gone for good. This is Nintendo we’re talking about, though, so we could see an inevitable re-issue at some point down the line.
Here are all the current retailers offering the Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros at the discounted price of £30:
- Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros for £29.99 from Amazon UK
- Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros for £29 from AO
- Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros for £29.99 from Currys PC World
- Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros for £29.99 from Currys PC World (eBay)
On the handheld, you’ll be able to play Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels and a Mario version of the classic Ball game. There’s also the option to use the Game & Watch as an animated digital clock, which is nice.
Remember, as the Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros will only be available to buy until 31st March, this is likely you’re last chance to pick it up for a good price.
