Amazon has confirmed that their annual sales event – Amazon Prime Day – will take place between 21st – 22nd June in 2021.
The announcement comes after much speculation as to whether the members-only sale would take place later in the year again or return to its usual spot around June or July.
With a 21st June date for Amazon Prime Day, it puts considerable distance between itself and another mega retail event – Black Friday. In 2020, the two basically rolled into each other as the coronavirus pandemic forced Amazon to shift its usual plans.
Although the event doesn’t kick off properly for another few weeks, some early Prime Day deals are already available.
Prime members can already get four months of Amazon Music for free, three months of Kindle Unlimited for free and a three-month Audible membership for just 99p. Other offers include 50% off a selection of movies and TV shows to buy on Prime Video and a £10 saving on your first grocery shop.
If you’ve not signed up yet, you can activate your 30-day Amazon Prime membership free trial to take advantage of all the current and upcoming offers.
